I am excited to make some changes and I am taking the following advice from a mentor of mine. I am going to ask myself the following questions to really boost how I approach 2019.

1️⃣What did I do, create or experience this year that I am really proud of?

Many of of us are extremely self critical and start the year feeling deflated. If you look through your calendar and you see the trips, or projects or even times in your life that scared you, you will realize what a filling year you’ve had.

2️⃣ What mistakes did I make that taught me something? What lessons did I learn that I can leverage? How can I use this to grow as a person?

3️⃣What can I let go of? What goal or project that have been on my list that I can ditch?

If those goals are no longer aligned with who you are right now, let them go. Or put it in another way…. what guilt, shame or embarrassments that you are still thinking about that no longer serve you? Let go of the stories you are telling yourself. Who might you be if you let go of the disempowering thoughts and you focused on the solutions and not the problems? These are just a few tips I am mulling about in my head today, if you think they are useful, please let me know which one you liked! “Be like a tree and let the dead leaves drop.” ~Rumi
